The Herd Immunity Campaign

What is herd immunity?

Herd Immunity: When a community has enough members immune to a contagious disease to protect the small number of members who are not immune.

Who does herd immunity protect?

  • all infants under one year of age
  • people who are immune-compromised
  • unvaccinated pregnant women
  • people over 64 years of age
  • people who have an allergy to a component of a vaccine
Does your community have herd immunity?
